Brightlife Kids content & strategy, Brightline
As the Senior Content Designer at Brightline, Inc, one of my main responsibilities was the ideation, creation, management, and execution of contractual content for the California Department of Health Care Services. 12 new pieces were due per quarter and they reflected intensive user research of California families with kids 12 and under. Target demographics included Latinx families, Filipino families, and East Asian families living across different California counties and cities. Once content was outlined and drafted, I partnered with the Clinical and Care teams to ensure factual accuracy, therapeutic representation, and compliance. Contract requirements were met from January 2024 until company lay-offs in September 2024.
Medicare Guided Shopping Site, Blue Shield CA
From May 2020 to January of 2021, I was a lead content strategist and web editor on the launch of the current Medicare shopping and information site for Blue Shield of California. My responsibilities on this project consisted of consolidating three separate websites into one, improving funnel and flow for the user, and ensuring all compliance and brand standards were maintained during review. Then, I worked with my team to build the site itself, collaborating with UX designers and IT partners to launch new layouts and components in time for Open Enrollment on 10/1/20. Continued maintenance and soft phase two roll-outs continued on the project through January ‘21.
Covid-19 information site, Blue Shield CA
At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, I was solely responsible for launching an initial information suite over the course of a single weekend. After, I worked with marketing partners to launch new pages with updated coverage, testing, vaccine, and benefits information for BSCA members. In its final iteration (its current form screencapped above), I worked with UX and IT partners to apply a new layout that better met the member needs.
